Agri-light and MedOne Site Visit
Starting the year on an inspiring note with two incredible site visits.
First, a visit to our own portfolio company AGRILIGHT Energy, touring their breakthrough pilot at the Ramat Negev Desert Agro-Research Center. Together with Avi Tal, AgroPV BizDev Manager, and Shira Levy, VP Strategy & Finance at EDF power solutions Israel, we had a fascinating deep dive into the technology. CEO Udi Wild walked us through their innovative dual hybrid-axis system, powered by agronomy-based algorithms, a true FOAK solution that not only maximizes renewable energy production without harming crops, but can actually improve agricultural yield.
The second highlight was a truly one-of-a-kind deep-tech investors visit to the MedOne Tirat HaCarmel Data Center, brilliantly organized by the amazing Arielle Evan. With so many startups we meet ultimately interfacing with data centers, it was invaluable to experience firsthand the operational realities, challenges, and opportunities directly from the experts.
A great way to kick off the year.
